MUMBAI, APRIL 12: Tata SSL defeated Forbes Gokak by 65 runs in the A Division final of the 21st Tata Inter-Company cricket tournament, today.

Tata SSL 224-7 in 45 overs (Rajesh Sutar 62, Manoj Joglekar 47, Nitin Akre 35; Yogesh Kaudhare 3-58) bt Forbes Gokak 159 (L Rajput 31, Nishit Shetty 46; M Joglekar 3-29, R Sutar 3-39). MoM: Rajesh Sutar.

A Division best batsman: Nishit Shetty (Forbes Gokak). Best bowler: Vijay Hinge (Telco).

B Division best batsman: RS Worlikar (TIFR).

Best bowler: K Hadsul (Tata Electric).

Siyarams Silks tops

Siyarams Silks claimed the B Division title of the 24th Thanevaibhav cricket tournament when they beat JK Sports Club by 158 runs at the Dadoji Konddev Stadium, Thane.

Siyarams Silks 235-9 in 35 overs (Prashant Shetty 60, Tushar Zaveri 31, Prashant Sarang 31) bt JK Sports Club 77 in 28 overs (Tushar Zaveri 3-12) by 158 runs.

A Div. (Q-F): Larsen & Toubro 100in 34.1 overs (S Velaskar 3-16) lost to Orient Ship Agency 102-2 in 15.2 overs (Nitin Palande 52) by eight wickets.

MTNL 166 in 35 overs (M Kulkarni 34, R Mugnekar 33, V Shaikh 4-35) lost to Hindustan Petroleum 167-5 in 33.5 overs (PV Bole 50, V Keluskar 40 n.o.) by five wickets.

Raghukumar best

R Raghukumar (Bayer India) returned with a score of 39 points on the Stableford format and emerged winner in the BPGC golf tournament for left-handers, yesterday.

Khush Coorlawala was the first runner-up and Vicky Kapoor the second runner-up. Young Abhishek Harsh was awarded a special prize for teeing off closest to the 10th pin.
