CERC to regulate tariffs from May 15
The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) would start regulating tariffs of generating companies and transmission entities from May 15 and hopes that a national gridcode would be in place by July end.

Rolling settlement mooted
Leading FIIs, custodians and brokers have suggested that the Securities and Exchange Board of India should introduce rolling settlement in the country's stock exchanges in a phased manner.

ONGC, IOC may set up 3 power projects
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) are to jointly set up three power projects totalling 1,200 mw with an aggregate cost of Rs 4,700 crore, as per the strategic alliance between the two oil behemoths.
