Lalbagh deer park reopening under consideration

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
BANGALORE, May 4: The Karnataka Agriculture and Horticulture Minister, Byre Gowda has said that the possibility of reopening the deer park in Lalbagh Gardens here, which was closed down last week following the death of six deer in an attack by dogs, was being considered. He said considering its attraction to several tourists visiting the park, he would discuss the matter with the Forest Department as per the provisions of the Wildlife Conservation Act.
