Vajpayee to embark on nationwide campaign
Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee has planned a two-month countrywide campaign to keep alive issues that led to the fall of his government. During the tour, Vajpayee will address a series of public meetings with special emphasis on Southern states.

The Congress on Thursday took the crucial gamble of going along with J Jayalalitha's ADMK for the coming elections in Tamil Nadu, after a long meeting between CWC member Sharad Pawar and Jayalalitha in Chennai, thus renewing a 13-year-old friendship which went sour for a while last year.

More SP men join Cong, Dalwai may sue Azmi
The exodus from the Samajawadi Party (SP) in Maharashtra continues with nearly 100 activists including some office-bearers from different parts of Maharashtra joining the Congress. They were introduced by Hussain Dalwai who created a furore by joining the Congress last week in New Delhi.
