Sonia stays in the race
Sonia Gandhi today drew the battlelines for a `Sonia-versus-the-rest' campaign and declared that the people of this country would decide the debate on her nationality.
Army admits to infiltrators presence
The Army for the first time yesterday acknowledged the presence of about 600 infiltrators inside Indian territory and another 400 across the Line of Control, and said a four-pronged attack was under way to recover the higher ridgelines in the Batalik, Kaksar, Drass and Mushkoh areas.
Cong expulsions kick up row
With both the Congress party and Sharad Pawar's group ``expelling'' legislators siding with the opposite camp, the stage is set for a new controversy over rules and laws before a clean split can be effected in the Congress Legislature Party (CLP).
