Pawar camp to hold parallel CLP meeting on Monday
The tug-of-war between the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) and Maratha strongman Sharad Pawar's camp to gain supremacy over the CLP continued unabated with both Sonia loyalists and the rebel group convening the CLP meeting on the same day -- May 31.

Pawar's Nationalist Cong Party launched
Rebel Congressmen yesterday floated their new outfit by the name of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). However, party leader Sharad Pawar once again shied from declaring his strategy on electoral arrangements with other parties.

Cong headed for split in BMC
The Congress seems to be headed for a split in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) following its decision to expel four more corporators yesterday. The party had already expelled five corporators two days ago.
