Vineet Kulkarni tops MCA's umpires exam

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
PUNE, June 2: City's Vineet Kulkarni topped the umpire's exam conducted by the Maharashtra Cricket association (MCA). Vineet was awarded the AR Joshi trophy for the achievement.

Coming in at second place in the exam was R Pandit while Ajit Sohoni took third position. Both the candidates are from Pune.

A total of 150 candidates appeared for the examination, which was adjudged by a technical committee chaired by former India Test captain Chandu Borde. The exam was conducted in August last year by the Maharashtra Cricket Association.
