Army takes fight to enemy camp, hits PoK bases
For the first time since the Kargil conflict broke out, Indian artillery guns rained a barrage of shells on logistics camps inside Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The camps were in the Skardu region.

Hundreds of flares were fired at Drass brigade headquarters at intervals of three minutes by the Pakistani intruders as the infantry soldiers stealthily climbed the steep slope leading to Point 5140.
