BANGALORE, JUNE 29: Former Janata Dal MP, Qamarul Islam, has been expelled from the primary membership of the party for six years by the Karnataka unit president, Siddaramaiah, for alleged anti-party activities.
The expulsion, which comes into effect immediately, was announced in a press release issued by the party's general secretary, C Narayana Swamy, here today.
