Militants vow to continue jehad in Kargil-Drass area
The United Jihad Council (UJC), an alliance of 15 groups fighting in Kashmir, on Sunday hinted that the mujahideen (Muslim militants) could `re-adjust' their positions in Kargil-Drass sector but categorically ruled out any withdrawal.

Sector-by-sector ceasefire, says Pak
Pakistan's foreign minister Sartaj Aziz said yesterday that the Indian and Pakistani military officials had agreed on a sector-by-sector ceasefire to end the worst Indo-Pakistani military standoff in 30 years.
