Sensex scales all-time high of 4678 points
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) sensitive index, created history yesterday by vaulting to its all-time high level of 4678.28.

BOC agrees for $11.2 bn takeover deal
British industrial gases company BOC Group Plc has agreed to a 7.2 billion pound sterling ($ 11.2 billion) takeover by industry rivals Air Liquide of France and US-based Air Products and Chemicals.

Infosys chief against FI man on company boards
Financial institutions (FIs) must not have a nominee director on the boards of companies where they have lent money or hold equity, Infosys Technologies Ltd. chief executive N R Narayana Murthy said.
