This could well be a list of her favourite things. She calls herself Suchitra K (Krishnamurty/Kapur), whatever you choose) and tells you oh-so-casually to look up her website, www.suchitrak.com -- that is if you want to know all about her life -- from the serials and films she has worked in, to marriage and her singing career. And being married to Shekhar Kapur, he of the Elizabeth fame, is obviously the highpoint of her life.
``Elizabeth is my favourite film. My contribution to the film's content was nil but I had to see to it that Shekhar was getting proper Indian meals, like dal-chawal,'' gushes this devoted wife.
Her other favourite film is Jungle Book, for it's incomparable innocence and purity. On her long-distance marriage, she has this to say: ``You have to make time for each other,'' which of course means travelling to hubby's exotic shooting locations. And then it's back to the promotion of her singing career. Suchitra K was recently in Pune to promote her latest album, Zindagi, where her``favourite'' number is the title track, composed by Broadway bigwig Andrew Lloyd Webber. She lets on about her other favourite things chocolates, white linen, mangoes and stuffed bears. And if you think the lady doesn't have a serious side, you're wrong. Suchitra will donate her earnings from the album to the Kargil Fund. Kabhi Haan, Kabhi Na, that's Suchitra for you.
