Earlier, DAV lads took lead in the 12th minute when Parveen converted a spot kick. However, Deepak's goal in the 27th minute brought Blue Star Club back into the game.

Blue Star Club will now take on Sanjay Public School, Sector 44 in the semifinal. Sanjay Public School beat OCF Juniors 4-0 in another quarterfinal game.

Davinder started the goals spree, with a powerful shot in the fifth minute. Left half Rajiv made it 2-0 for Sanjay Public School in the 20th minute.

The half-time score was 2-0 in favour of Sanjay Public School. On resumption, Vinay added another goal to the tally in the 40th minute and Rajiv's goal in the 43rd minute made it a complete rout.

St. Xavier's Sr. Secondary School, Sector 44 also moved into the last four. They beat Liberty Club, Sector 27 by a solitary goal. Left-out Joseph was the savious for St. Xavier's, scoring the match-winner in the 28th minute with a solo effort. The half-time score was 1-0 in favour of St. Xavier's. Liberty boys tried hard to equalise on resumption but their efforts proved futile as St Xavier's tight defence thwarted their moves.

St Xavier's will clash with SD Public School, Sector 32 in the second semifinal.

SD Public School beat DAV Model School, Sector 15 3-0 in the last quarterfinal tie. The SD boys mounted pressure from the start and scored the first goal in the third minute itself through right-striker Kuljit Singh. Kuljit added another in the 16th minute. Gopal Thapa completed the last rites, scoring the third goal for the eventual winners.
