Nitish quits; stay on, says Vajpayee
Claiming ``moral responsibility'' for the devastating train collision in North Bengal, Railways Minister Nitish Kumar yesterday quit only to be told that Prime Minister A B Vajpayee had refused to accept his resignation.
Let Parliament OK telecom package, suggests high court
While the Delhi High Court has not put any stay order on the controversial telecom bailout package, the entire scheme has nearly come unstuck with the court suggesting that it be reviewed by Parliament once a new government comes in.
EC revises poll dates, city still votes on Sept 11
