Over 1,200 foreign militants cross LoC
In a startling disclosure that will puncture the post-Kargil euphoria, BSF's Inspector General in Baramullah, A.S.Mangat, has claimed that over 1200 foreign militants have occupied the high ridges on the Indian side of the Line of Control.

Colonel, bodyguards killed in fresh ambush in Kashmir
A day after militants stormed an Army camp, ultras today ambushed an Army vehicle killing a colonel and his three bodyguards in Kupwara and attacked a security camp and two police posts in Jammu and Kashmir.
