Diary shows architect of Holocaust showed no remorse before execution
The daily Yediot Ahronot said it received the hand-written translation of Eichmann's diary 20 years ago from a source it refused to name. But the German extracts came from a government archive and are indisputably Eichmann's.

Emergency in Chechnya as conflict rages in Dagestan
Chechnya on Sunday declared a state of emergency and imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew as Russian forces claimed to have killed about 80 Islamic rebels in fighting in neighbouring Dagestan province.

4 tourists abducted by gunmen in Iran
