UP cops foil bid to assassinate PM, Sonia
Uttar Pradesh police foiled a plot to assassinate Prime Minister AB Vajapyee, Sonia Gandhi and Union Home Minister LK Advani during their election campaign in Eastern Uttar Pradesh by arresting a hitman of the Dawood Ibrahim gang yesterday.

Worst monsoon in last five years
