US to join probe into Lanka mass killings
The United States, which has taken a strong stand against the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in recent years, will be part of an ongoing judicial probe into charges of mass killings of civilians by the Lankan army after capture of the Jaffna peninsula in 1995.

7 Indians among 15 dead in Nepal air crash
All fifteen persons on board a domestic commercial airliner were killed on Sunday when it crashed in the Kathmandu valley while on the landing-approach for the Tribhuvan International Airport.
