Standing joke
Movers & Shakers, undoubtedly has become one of the most popular shows on television. But what's also true is that viewers enjoy Shekhar Suman's stand-up comic act in which he doesn't spare anyone more than the interviews. Many a time, the guests are people you and I have never heard of. The problem could be to capture two celebrities every day. You can't expect an Amitabh or Shah Rukh each time. Lately, there have been some interesting guests like Sharon Prabhakar, Arbaaz Khan and wife Malvika, director Karan Johar of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and fashion designer Shabina Khan (who designs Salman's clothes). That reminds us of Alka Suman, Shekhar's wife who is also a fashion designer. Wouldn't it be great fun having Alka on one of the shows?Gang games

It is said, Gujaratis make good businesssmen. Well, producer Aasit Modi of Hum Sab Ek Hain proves it. In one of his episodes, the three daughters-in-law have a cooking competition of western food. For this Modi required a microwave oven. If you hire one, it could cost upto Rs.3,000 per a day. And he needed it for two days. So, guess what? Instead of hiring one, Modi purchased an oven for Rs,12,000 because he didn't have one at home. This is called heating your cake and eating it too!
Politician Pal
In the television industry there are three actors who are know to be quite active in politics. Nitish Bharadwaj, Mukesh Khanna and Surendra Pal. This year, we don't know how involved Bhardwaj and Khanna are but Pal is busy. Except that he has switched: he used to campaign for BJP till last year. This year he has joined the Shiv Sena. He is not contesting because it's a rule that no actor with a serial on air can stand for elections but that doesn't stop him campaigning. ``I was not happy the way things were happening so I'm with Sena this time,'' explains Pal.
