Pak-India slugfest at UN over differences
India and Pakistan brought their aggravated neighbourhood spat to the 54th General Assembly of the UN that began in New York yesterday.

Over 1,400 dead in Taiwan quake
At least 1,455 people were killed and about 3,500 injured in Taiwan when the strongest earthquake in nearly a century hit the country yesterday, causing widespread devastation that left over 1,00,000 homeless.
