Aditya Dhawle's ton spurs CoM win

PUNE, Sept 23: Aditya Dhawle's unbeaten century along with half-centuries by Prasad Ghogare and Vineet Patil's laid Club of Maharshtra's foundation which inturn helped them record a first innings win over Vijay Cricket Club in the MCA's Under-19 Invitational cricket tournament, here today.

Vijay CC: 180 & 165 for 4; 44 overs: (Amit Misal 68, Nitin Jambhle 51 n.o., Narendra Jadhav 3/30) lost to Club of Maharashtra: 275 for 5; 73.5 overs decl. (Aditya Dhawle 118 n.o., Prasad Ghogare 56, Vineet Patil 56, Mohan Jadhav 3/61).

YMCA: 134 & 102 for 4 (Aniruddha Harishchandre 52 n.o., Saeed Khot 3/9) lost to United CC: 198 (Sandesh Pawaskar 52, Praveen Bandkar 50, Yogesh Dongre 5/56, Rohan Ingle 5/22).

Deccan Gymkhana: 338 for 8 decl. (Yashodhan Velankar 134, Agrani Bhosale 69, Vinayak Renuse 29, Sachin Mane 5/80) bt Vilas CC: 206 & 229 for 6 (Kshitij Shinde 49, Prasad Joshi 42, Hemant Ubhe 35 n.o., Subham Ghare 2/11).

Sagar Pasalkar maintained a tight line and length which paid off as he claimed 5/12 off three overs enroute his team SSPMS Jr College to 64- run victory over Jaihind Jr College (Pimpri) in the CK Nayadu Under-19 cricket tournament, organised by the Multi Games Sports Council, here today.
SSPMS Jr College: 126 for 9 (Sagar Pasalkar 40, Abhijit Gaikwad 20, Anil Londhe 12, Allan Anthony 3/31, Satish Rane 4/23) bt Jaihind Jr College: 62 for 6(Satish Rane 29, Sagar Pasalkar 5/12, Jattar Dakwala 1/3).

Triathlon meet
The Maharashtra Triathlon Association (MTA) will conduct IX State Triathlon championship for men and women at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi from Sept 26. Entries accepted at the venue on Sept 25 at 4 p.m.
