Cop finds a purse with Rs 12,200; owner awaited

CHANDIGARH, Oct 3: A head constable with Chandigarh traffic police, Kanwar Pal, today found a purse containing Rs 12,200, along with passport of Sachin Sharma, at the traffic light point of Sector 19 and 27 and deposited the same to Sector 19 police station for police verification. According to sources, the policemen visited the address mentioned in the passport, but did not find Sachin there.The claimant can collect the amount and the purse after giving proper identification to the policemen on duty on any working day during working hours.
