Bofors flares up in House, diesel adds fuel to the fire
Congress on Tuesday sought to create a storm in Parliament with a walk-out over the issue of naming late former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi as an accused in the Bofors payoffs case but the government outright rejected its demand for deletion of his name saying it was open to the aggrieved to approach courts for remedy.

There was no respite for the government on the diesel price hike front with a key NDA ally TDP leader and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu criticising the way the Centre effected hike the entire Opposition in the Lok Sabha walking out protesting against Government's "failure" to give an assurance to roll back the price of diesel.
