Treasures of a time gone by
A History of the Jodhpur Style written by Rosemary Crill, to be officially released on Wednesday. Maharaja Gaj Singh II will inaugurate an exhibition of miniature Marwar paintings -- the first ever public viewing of the Jodhpur royal collection -- the same day.

Owner's pride
In our leaning toward the West and our colonial roots, we neglect the rich heritage of India, the multitudinous arts and intricate crafts," says Princess of Baroda, Asha Raje Gaekwad, bringing out some exquisite, intricate, ivory paintings done by an old-time Jaipur artist.

Inside out
Cities are a part of national wealth and architecture occupies a vital place in that structure, says Charles Correa.
