HYDERABAD, NOV 3: Continuing in his effort to put Andhra Pradesh on the world map, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu wants to invite United States President Bill Clinton to the State during his visit to India in February.
Naidu is likely to make a formal request to US Ambassador Richard Celeste, who is leading a US trade delegation for exploring the possibilities of investment in the State. Sources told The Indian Express that Naidu was keen on the Presidential visit as it would boost foreign investment in AP.
Though the US President's visits are scheduled months in advance, the Chief Minister's office is confident of getting the opportunity to play host to Clinton. Sources close to the CM are optimistic that Clinton would not like to miss out on a State which has been drawing plaudits for Naidu's the pioneering policies.
