Sharif flown to Karachi for trial
Pakistan's ousted Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, was flown to Karachi from an undisclosed location late Saturday night to stand trial on charges of treason and kidnapping, according to an international news agency which quoted unnamed official sources.

Sea-bed area to be delienated
India has begun a gigantic exercise to establish once and for all its sea-bed boundary and to stake claim to an additional million square miles of sea-bed areas beyond its existing exclusive economic zone (EEZ).

Hundreds still flock to sati site
The police have detained two relatives of a 55-year-old woman who allegedly committed `sati' in Satpurwan village on Thursday as hundreds of people on Sunday continued to flock the site of the incident.
