KOLHAPUR, NOV 21: Three persons, including two women, were killed and one serious injured when a Maruti car by which they were travelling collided with a military truck near Tandulwadi on the Pune-Bangalore National highway some 50 km from here yesterday.Police sources said the accident occurred when the Pune based family was returning home after attending a marriage ceremony here. The truck coming from the opposite direction collided with their vehicle.
The victims were identified as Chandrashekhar Parshuram Sawant (45), his wife Ujwala(38), and Urmila Vinayak Sawant (40). The injured, Vinayak Parshuram Sawant (50), has been rushed to the Krishna charitable trust hospital at Karad.
