CHANDIGARH, NOV 29: Gulsagar won two gold medals in boys 8 to 10 years section in the Chandigarh State roller skating championship which concluded yesterday at Sector 10 Skating Rink.
Gulsagar got first place in Rink Race II. He then also excelled in the Road Race, to pocket his second gold of the day.
Radhika Mehta reigned supreme in above 14 girls group by bagging first place in road race event. Radhika, who recently represented India in the Asian roller hockey meet, has been unbeaten in the road races in her respective group for the past few years.
Suprana and Bandeep were second and third, respectively.
In the roller hockey event there were one-sided contests. In men group , Rink `A' beat Rink `B' by 11-9.
In the girls category Chandigarh `A' defeated Chandigarh `B' 10-3.
Results: Rink race II: Boys: 6 to 8 yrs: 1 Bharat, 2 Rehatbir, 3 Raghav. 8 to 10 yrs: 1 Gulsagar, 2 Gulrajan, 3 Siddharth. 10 tto 12 yrs: 1 Sahil, 2 Vaibhav, 3 Gurpreet. 12 to 14 yrs: 1 Harkiran, 2 Manjit, 3 Gaurav. Girls: 6 to 8 yrs: 1 Nayhal, 2 Richa, 3 Yasmeen. 10 to 12 yrs: 1 Shakun, 2 Puneet Kaur, 3 Beenu. Above 14 yrs: 1 Bandeep, 2 Suparna, 3 Sapna Jain.
Road race: Boys: 8 to 10 yrs: 1 Gulsagar, 2 Anant, 3 Gurmohit. 10 to 12 yrs: 1 Chetan, 2 Ravneet, 3 Sahil. 12 to 14 yrs: 1 Harkiran, 2 jaswinder, 3 Varun Kumar. Girls: 10 to 12 yrs: 1 Kriti Puri, 2 Puneet Kaur, 3 Parneet Kaur. Above 14 yrs: 1 Radhika Mehta, 2 Suparna, 3 Bandeep.
