DECEMBER 2: Anna Pavlova responded to the urge of jockey Bajrang Singh and spurted swiftly to claim The J Rustomji Suparivala Trophy, 1000 metres, the star attraction of the first Special Race Day at Mahalakshmi on Thursday.Venus who gathered maximum support aimed for a start to finish show but failed to maintain the lead from 200 metres onwards and finished third behind the winner and Feel The Force. Stone Ridge was last on the board in the small field of six runners. Trainer Altaf Hussain romped home a double.
