PRESS TRUST OF INDIA

JAIPUR, JULY 8: Three persons were burnt alive and another was seriously injured when an aviation-fuel tanker caught fire after colliding with a truck near Baghana village in Rajasthan, police said here today.

The accident occurred yesterday when the tanker on its way to Delhi from Sabarmati in Gujarat collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction, police said.

Driver of the tanker and two others traveling in it were trapped inside as the huge fire engulfed the vehicle immediately after the collision. The cleaner of the tanker, who threw himself out of the burning tanker, was rushed for treatment to udaipur with serious burn-injuries, they said.
