VSNL waves red flag to FLAG proposal
While most internet providers across the country are under the impression, following media reports on the PM's announcement at an infotech ministers meet recently, that VSNL no longer has the monopoly over international bandwidth, they have another think coming.




Rs 48,000 cr e-business revenue by 2005
National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) on Thursday said the country can earn revenues of Rs 48,000 crore from E-business by 2005.




InfoSpace founded by US NRI buys Go2Net for $4 bn
InfoSpace Inc, which syndicates content to Internet portals and wireless companies, on Wednesday agreed to buy Go2Net Inc for about $4 billion in stock, giving InfoSpace technology to process online payments and deliver interactive games.
