Rupee slides back to 45 despite RBI measures
Cocking a snook at the Reserve Bank measures, the Indian rupee breached the 45 per dollar level again on Monday, a little over a week after a central bank support package rescued it from its first dip.




ACC in red, posts Rs 9.5 cr loss in Q1
Despite a sharp rise in volumes, the Associated Cement Companies (ACC) has slipped deep into the red with a loss of Rs 9.50 crore for the first quarter.




M&M profit falls 33%, PTL net dips 29.4%
Tractor and utility vehicle major Mahindra & Mahindra reported a 33.13% drop in its net profit to Rs 34.28 crore for the first quarter ended June 2000 against Rs 51.27 crore during the same quarter in the previous year.
