Rupee resumes downward march, falls 25 paise to 45.88
After a gap of one day, the rupee resumed its downward march on Thursday. A strong dollar demand from corporates pulled down the Indian currency further by 25 paise to a new all-time low of 45.87/88 per dollar.




NCAER maintains 7.2 pc GDP growth
National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) on Thursday maintained its previous forecast of 7.2 per cent growth in real GDP despite concerns on industrial output and investment expenditure fronts.




HC issues notices to MoF, RBI, CBI on NPAs
Delhi High Court on Thursday issued show-cause notices to Union Finance Ministry, RBI and CBI asking them to file replies why a petition seeking action against officials allegedly responsible for creating non-performing assets (NPA) worth Rs 51,000 core in various banks, should not be admitted.
