Sonia PM or not...

Dear Sir,

I don't know why there is so much noise about Mrs.Gandhi's possible elevation to PM-hood. Isn't it in the Constitution that those who are citizens through naturalization cannot hold sensitive political positions? I would imagine this is clearly written somewhere. And if is, then it would be best to refrain from tainting a lady's grace and bearing. If it isn't, then the matter should be taken to a court of law and the proposition and it's opposition be examined thoroughly. Let us deal with this issue on a mature level as opposed to "vowing never to let an Italian become a P.M.or accusing her just because she is the late Mrs.Gandhi's daughter-in-law" etc. The issue is very clear and I am sure there is a very definite "yes/no" answer to it and we all know which one it is too. Mud-slinging is not for the erudite and I thought we always loved to harp on 5000-years of civilization. Let's prove it now.

Isaac Abraham,USA.
