UN resolution of 1948
This is the most significant resolution passed by the United Nations on the state of Jammu and Kashmir on August 13, 1948, after India lodged a complaint with the world body against Pakistani invasion in Kashmir. It also mentions, albeit indirectly, that Pakistan had consistently lied on the question of whether or not its troops were involved in the fighting in Jammu and Kashmir.
