Surat, February 2 Travel Corporation of India and tourism company Thomas Cook have brought together leaders of the tourism industry under one roof at the “100 percent Holiday Carnival”, the largest multi-city road show of its kind in the country.

According to the organisers, the carnival will showcase various facets of travel and emerging destinations to the people while passing through the city. “The initiative is the biggest ever structured roadshow by any travel company in India. Thomas Cook will project the best of India here. The road show will cover different cities and mega cities across the country,” said an official.

“India is gearing up as one of the most prosperous economies in the world with a high disposable income. The number of Indians, especially from Surat availing leisure travel has been on a rise for the last couple of years and we think that ‘100 percent carnival’ will be a good source of information for them,” he added.
