Bipan Ghai, son of criminal lawyer and senior advocate R S Ghai has also been designated as senior lawyer this time. Bipan has over 22 years of practice in the profession. Apart from Bipan, those who have been designated as senior advocates are: Atul Lakhanpal; R K Malik; Arun Jain; P S Sangha; Nidesh Gupta; Chetan Mittal; Pawan Kumar; H S Hundal; Sanjay Manjithia and Salil Sagar.

AS many as 22 advocates had applied for being designated as senior advocates, out of which eight advocates were designated as senior advocates by the Full Court. Out of the eleven, three advocates have been designated as seniors, on their own, by the High Court. These are: R K Malik; Arun Jain and P S Sangha.
