117-yr-old votes in Nepal election

Kathmandu, April 10: For 117-year-old Amrita Devi Shah, it was a momentous occasion as she exercised her franchise in the crucial elections that will define Nepal's future political set-up.

Shah cast her vote in a polling centre in Baijnath village of Achham district in western Nepal. Devi also called others to participate in the voting for the Constituent Assembly election enthusiastically, reported private Nepal FM radio.
