Kolkata A 12-year-old boy committed suicide in the Rabindra Sarani area on Tuesday. He was allegedly depressed due to his mother’s death and elder brother’s suicide over the last year. The police said the body of Santosh Gujrati was found hanging from the ceiling of his residence on Tuesday morning by his neighbours, who informed the Girish Park police station. Santosh had been living with his brothers since the death of his mother six months ago. “The family worked in the clothes-for-cooking vessels exchange business. After Santosh’s mother’s death, his father left the family and returned Bhavnagar in Gujarat,” the police said.
