15 Punjab cops selected for President’s Police Medals

Chandigarh Four DIGs are among 15 officers in the Punjab Police to get President’s Police Medals for distinguished or meritorious services on Republic Day.

As per the list which the state government got today evening, Ludhiana Range DIG Ishwar Singh, Bathinda Range DIG Jatinder Jain and DIG (Administration) Gurpreet Deo will get President's Police Medal for meritorious service, and DIG (Crime) RPS Brar for distinguished services.

Besides them, five PPS officers and nine police personnel from other ranks will get the medal for distinguished services. ASI Umkar Singh, PSO with Amritsar Range DIG PS Sidhu, and Sandeep Sood, SI in Security Wing, will get the medals.
