Police said that while driving at a breakneck speed, they had probably lost control before ramming into the car coming from the opposite direction at the Dehu Road crossing. They were taken to the hospital, where both were declared dead. Victor is reported to be the son of an ex-serviceman, Arindam Guha of Kolkata. Victor had had come to Pune last June.
