Maner’s body was discovered by his parents who took it to Cooper Hospital where he was declared dead. Maner’s father Hidayat Maner works as a constable at LT Marg Police Station. On Wednesday at 10 pm, Maner is said to have moved from his parent’s room to another room where he used to study and sleep.
The body was discovered on Thursday morning. No suicide note was left and his family said that he had been very disturbed lately. A case of suicide was registered at MIDC police station.
“Maner was an HSC pass and then he started pursuing an animation course,” said Police Sub Inspector M Yadav of MIDC police station. “According to his friends and parents he was very good in his studies and a very sociable and popular person. So far we have no idea what his motive could have been. However his parents did say that he had been very disturbed of late though he did not tell them or his friends the reason for the same,” added Yadav.
