The list included the names of the range DIG of Allahabad B P Jogdand and Allahabad's SSP Dipesh Juneja. Both officers were given marching orders within a week of the success of Delhi’s Special Cell in arresting the controversial MP from Phulpur Atiq Ahamad.

As per the list issued by the state's home department, the IG (Personnel) Pravin Singh has been asked to join as the new IG of Kanpur range while the Varanasi zone IG Kashmir Singh would replace Singh as IG (Personnel) in the DGP office. Kanpur zone IG Shiv Narain Singh will be the IG of Varanasi zone.

Sutapta Sanyal, IG (PAC, Central Zone), will join as the IG (Administration) in place of Bijendra Singh. Singh has been posted as the IG (PAC, Central Zone). While PC Meena, DIG (Jhansi) range has been made the new DIG (Allahabad range), Allahabad’s outgoing DIG B P Jogdand will join as the new DIG (Railways, Lucknow).

The government has also transferred the Basti range DIG Prabahat Kumar as DIG (Radio Headquarters). P V Ramshastri will be new DIG of the Basti Range. The government has posted B K Singh, who is currently holding the post of SP, Training and Security, as the new SSP of Allahabad. The Allahabad SSP Dipensh Juneja has been made the commandant of PAC's 38 Bn in Aligarh. Chandauli SP Love Kumar has posted as new SP (Intelligence Headquarters).
