Melbourne In yet another attack on Indian students in Melbourne, a 22-year-old youth was punched on his face by a group of Australians, who also told the victim that "in this place there is no home for you".

Sai Ratan Tiwari, who hails from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, was on his way to a temple along with a friend on Sunday when two Australians stopped him and asked where they were going.

"I told them I was going home instead of disclosing that I was going to a temple," said Tiwari, who arrived here a year ago to persue Bachelors of Information Systems.

Tiwari, a student of Ballarat University, said he was scared to disclose that he was visiting a temple.

"They punched on my face and told me 'in this place there is no home for you'," he said, adding he refused to go to hospital and instead was treated by an on-site ambulance.

He said while his friend was trying to make a phone call to police, the attackers snatched the phone and fled the scene.

"We called the police. They arrived after 10 minutes and after that the ambulance arrived. I was unconscious because I had lost a lot of blood," Tiwari said.

He said he has already contacted the Indian Consulate General's office here which has given him a doctor's number for any further treatment.

The incident has already been reported to Frankton Police Station. Tiwari is the latest victim of racial attacks in Australia.

Last week, 36-year-old Amrit Goyal, an engineering student, was racially abused by a group of Australians, including a woman, who also punched him in his left eye.

More than three dozen Indian students have been attacked in various Australian cities since June this year.

Indian students a big menace by Raj Thackrey on 09 Nov 2009

These indian students whereever they go create problems and troubles, first spreading their filthy habits, forming groups and not integrating and then playing victims. Indians are the more racist among the whole lot. The government of india is not capable to manage them so they these parasites to other countries. These students should be deported back immediately.

Sidekick and my useless son by Rodgers Father on 09 Nov 2009

Still Oinking RF by Roger on 10 Nov 2009

RF, as ridiculous you sound, you now seem to be motivating violence against an individual which speaks volumes of your pathetic levels of intelligence. instead of wasting your time ridiculing facts, why dont you channel your energy to reduce the stench you and your sidebrats emit? why dont you rather avoid taking a walk with your sidebrats and therefore reducing the anguish of people? try doing it maybe you might just reduce the scope of ridicule, jibes and taunts you and your sidebrats encounter. try not to dabble in english too much. " Military" is the right spelling. Also try to avoid Mooing too much. You should change your tone to Oink oink because it reflects your personae much better.

Witchdoctor Paras and Useless Son by Rodgers Father on 10 Nov 2009

When this guy Raj T talks about parasite, I am sure he is talking about my useless son with 3P's problem. Because he is a parasite its upsetting reading the truth. The fact is that he self praisers after using a dictonary and others checking speling for him. The fact is that this is a blog with comments. No one gives a rats arse. Only thing that counts is the ideas stupid. In your case there is none. Any way Munna beta good try for the spelling. Are you learning communication English and basic maths for taxi drivers? Work hard on that as well.

Raj Thackrey the dumb-dumb Pakistani. by Juan Carlos d. Autopista on 09 Nov 2009

'Raj Thackrey' you wannabe Hindu of Pak origin. Unlike you Paks, Indians create jobs all over the world so don't even think of calling Indians parasites or filthy. You have troubles in reading and comprehension and I don't know what makes you so that dumb but it really works.

Indians not required by Raj Thackrey on 09 Nov 2009

We do not need your illegal jobs as we are fine with our system, your system is in totters, your problems is not our concern. Please stay back or face deportation.

RT and RF Boot s by Roger on 10 Nov 2009

Ofcourse the system which you have in your backyard in Pakistan of shariat suites oink oink like you and your bretherns such as RF. Please do bear in mind your " brothers" are getting a boot east to west. People like RF who support violence against docile indians are such loosers. They have lost their identity and self respect and thats why such people become subjects of ridicule, taunts and jibes along side their sidebrats. Coming here on false documents in a boat and now claiming to be epitome of righteousness is prepostrous. You guys cant even write in decent english."Tatters" is the right word and not totters.

Raj Thackrey the wannabe Hindu by Juan Carlos d. Autopista on 10 Nov 2009

Raj Thackrey , the Pakistani who longs desperately 2 b Hindu, I challange you to deport anyone from any where, anyday, any time. Your, anti-India and anti-Indian outburst, is not singular. We took notice of your brainless scribbles since the so called 26/11 blogs. We have no problems so why should there be any concern? But, to blame the victims instead of the culprits fits only into your Pak mentality and mind set. There are several people in this world that I find obnoxious and disgusting, and you are ALL of them.

Raj Thackrey: The wannbe Hindu by Juan Carlos d. Autopista on 09 Nov 2009

Raj Thackrey: The wannbe Hindu,I create only legal jobs. It you Paks who come around wanting jobs to 'Supplement's your social security and children allowances and then freak out when you are asked to produce your legalities. So who parasites on the system?!Are you always this stupid or are you making a special effort today?

deporation by Roger on 09 Nov 2009
