London Pakistani territory was not used in planning the Mumbai terror attacks, the country's envoy to Britain Wahid Shamshul Hasan has claimed.

"Pakistan's territory was not used so far as we know, so far as the investigators have made a conclusion. It could have been some other place but not the UK as well," Hasan said referring to the findings of Islamabad's probe on the Indian dossier on the carnage.

To a question that people in India and some other parts of the world will not believe the findings, he told NDTV, "why are they not going to believe it if we say so and if we say that we will give the facts that it (Pakistani territory) was not used, it could be some other place".

He said, "We are not going to do any whitewashing business. We believe in going after facts and will try to satisfy India with whatever we find and our findings will be acceptable to the world because we were not addressing only Indian concerns".

The comments came as media reports in that country said that the outcome of Islamabad's probe into the Indian dossier was that Pakistani territory was not involved in planning the carnage in India's financial capital.

Pakistan's Interior Ministry chief Rehman Malik on Thursday said that the preliminary report will be made public in "two to three days".

Pakistan will now say that the attack was planned

Hopeless and manipulative by romesh.sharma on 30 Jan 2009

Now they will say the attack was planned in socalled Azad Kashmir which Pakistan disowes whenever it suits it.While the truth is this part of Kashmir is illegaly occupied and administrated by Pakistan. Its only because they need aid and help and are afraid of naming Britain or USA.This will be impossible for them to justify/substantiate that claim. It won't disclose any name of some other Islamic country either because Pak is getting charity from practically all. Moreover it was well known to all Indians that there will be no sincere and truthful response from otherside. Pakistani regime is/was playing pranks and prating India and world community shouldn't hope any good from there and take harsh action to force abide by commitments.
