3 on motorcycle die in separate mishaps

Pune, February 5 A Garbage container of the Pune Municipal Corporation knocked dead motorcyclist Indraneel Uday Yadav (19) at Mahadev Nagar off Sinhagad Road around 8.30 am of Tuesday. Indraneel was a student of Sinhagad Education Institute. He was residing at Maharashtra Housing Board in Yerawada. Container driver Ankush Ramchandra Yadav has been arrested.

In another mishap at Bopodi chowk on Mumbai-Pune highway, an unknown vehicle ran over a motorcyclist Balu Baburao Shevale (35) of Gavede chawl in Chinchwad around 1.45 am of Tuesday. Shevale was going home on his bike when the speeding vehicle knocked him down.

In a similar accident, a truck dashed a motorcycle near Tata Motors Company in Chinchwad, killing the 50-year-old pillion Sushila Sharma around 12 noon of Monday. Her husband Mukundlal (64) who was riding the bike was injured. The couple residing at Indira Nagar in Chinchwad was heading home when the truck hit them. The police is investigating.

An unknown vehicle ran over an unidentified pedestrian (age 35 years) in Bhosari around 2 pm on Monday. The police is investigating.
