An official of the Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee said that the flight information and other important details about the journey would be available on www.hajcommittee.com, the official website of Haj Committee of India.
“Hajis would assemble at the Haj House on November 9 to 10, where we have made arrangements for them to stay. They have been asked not to come with more than two persons to avoid chaos. Roadways buses would ferry them to the airport,” he said.
He added that Monday was the deadline given by the state government to complete all works related to the Haj journey. Lucknow airport Director S D Awasthi said that they would take help of local police (besides CISF present at the airport) to maintain law and order at the airport.
Apart from the Airport Authorities of India and the UP State Haj Committee, Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) has also prepared itself to ensure proper arrangements at Haj House in Sarojini Nagar. Additional Municipal Commissioner A C Sinha said the LMC has crucial role to play in this scenario. “Sanitation is a big challenge when a large number of people are staying at a place. At least 10 sanitation workers would be present at the Haj House round the clock to see to the needs of the Hajis. LMC would also arrange and repair lighting at the Haj house,” he said.
Raghuvendra Kumar, Deputy Secretary of Lucknow Jal Sansthan said,” We will set up a camp with water tankers and sewage cleaning machines at the spot for the Hajis.”

Its very pity since one of the most Important pilgrims the HAJ is performed with millions of people coming round the globe.But U.P. has done excellent job the transition HAJI'S blessed the govt with the way Govt of UP have managed the things.Really it is shameful even when elections are on the cards govt has not taken the biggest PILGRIM of the world seriouly.Transition Hajis had to suffer alot of hardships.Even the website of haj committee is not updated when I logged in the web with a cover number it showed reporting date 11 of june '08
