4 bikers die in Navi Mumbai

Mumbai, January 1 Four persons died in three separate accidents on the New Year eve in Navi Mumbai.

According to the Navi Mumbai Police, the first accident occurred at around 2.30 am on Tuesday when a biker, identified as Vishal Gajve (28), died after his bike collided with another bike in Nerul. The rider of the other bike Pandurang Kachre (19) and the pillion rider Nilesh Bhosale suffered injuries and were admitted to the Sushruhsa hospital in Navi Mumbai. The police have registered a case of rash driving against Kachre.

In another incident, two youths died on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway while they were on the way to Panvel from Khopoli on a bike. According to the New Panvel police, the duo died after their bike was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the Expressway at around 4.30 am on Tuesday.

A 35-year-old unidentified biker was found dead after being hit by a vehicle on the MIDC road near Dighe. The Rabale police said that they are trying to ascertain the identity of the man.
