5 railwaymen were run over by Janshatabdi in NCR

New Delhi Five railwaymen, including an officer, were on Saturday run over by Delhi-bound Dehradun Janshatabdi Express near Ghaziabad at around 11.30 am.

Northern Railway sources said a railway inspection officer and four gangmen were killed in the accident between Ghaziabad and Shahibabad stations.

They said the accident occurred when the gangmen were at work.

Further details are awaited.

The incident comes close on the heels of a similar mishap in which six gangmen were knocked down by a local train near Palwal in Haryana.

These mishaps happend before and it happing now. When the Indian railways going to take safety measures to protect its inoccent employees? Indian railways should learn safe working practices from Australian railways. In Australia this kind of incidents never happend and will not happen. Because of Occupational work and safety practices.

Indian is world worst place to follow safety measures. Railway minister where are you? Are you sleeping or counting how much money you made today in corruption. World largest road accident is India. In cities no footpath for pedestrian, most of them walk on the road. World worst safety rules in India. Everyday there are 5 people killed by rail accidents.
