90 students take part in contest at GNPS

Ludhiana, February 5 To develop technical and cognitive skills of children, Guru Nanak Public School today organised a computer paintbrush competition.

About 90 students of Class V participated in this inter-section competition. For the finals, 16 contestants were selected. Commanding the computer intelligently and creatively, the participants produced some artistic pieces. The students painted on a variety of themes like festivals, party scene, village scene, country life, snowfall etc.

Pamela Lotey, the school headmistress and Jagdev Kaur, the incharge of the Nursery Wing, congratulated each student. The certificates of participation were given to all the students too. The winners were Amanpreet Kaur of Class V-C, Abhineet Kaur of Class V-G and Jaskaran Singh of Class V-C .The consolation prize was received by Gursimranjit Singh of Class V-H.
